At the same time, brands like Hodakova and Alaïa elevated the humble flip-flop with a high-fashion spin. What to wear with each style

Mary Jane Shoes:

Mary Jane shoes are a versatile shoe style that pairs well with a variety of outfits. They are French girl fabulous with jeans, Cali cool with shorts and skirts, demure and girly with dresses, and summer classic with a sleeveless shell and cropped patterned pants.

Clogs:

Clogs, a 70s staple, are back and better than ever. Wear them with a white midi-length knit dress and an oversized linen shirt. Add contrasting sock colors and cropped jeans for a downtown vibe, or a tie-front polka dot shirt and denim shorts for a feminine twist.
