The Spring 2025 runways had something for everyone when it came to footwear. Designers delivered an eclectic mix, from bold and unconventional to practical and wearable. Sneakers got a fresh update for streetwear lovers, while clogs made a stylish return with a modern, vintage-inspired twist. In Milan, Prada unveiled pumps with a dramatic edge, reminiscent of a stylish villain’s wardrobe. At the same time, brands like Hodakova and Alaïa elevated the humble flip-flop with a high-fashion spin. Above and below, we highlight the standout shoe trends poised to take over the streets once spring arrives.

What to wear with each style

Mary Jane Shoes:

Mary Jane shoes are a versatile shoe style that pairs well with a variety of outfits. They are French girl fabulous with jeans, Cali cool with shorts and skirts, demure and girly with dresses, and summer classic with a sleeveless shell and cropped patterned pants.

Clogs:

Clogs, a 70s staple, are back and better than ever. Wear them with a white midi-length knit dress and an oversized linen shirt. Add contrasting sock colors and cropped jeans for a downtown vibe, or a tie-front polka dot shirt and denim shorts for a feminine twist. And a boho-inspired long dress and straw bag is a lesson in 70s summer chic.

Yellow and PVC Mules:

Colorful mules with embellishments are the perfect foil for whatever you are wearing. A white lace high-neck Bolero shrug, black strapless dress, and thin belt is a classic modernized. A white denim jacket, olive pants, and white tee gives a city vibe. Try them with a blue sleeveless shell with cream
skinny slacks, or a patterned dress. Add a little sophistication with a wheat-colored light sweater and a black vegan leather skirt, or choose a button-down shirt in black or white paired with grey shorts.

T-Bar Heels:

T-bar heels, also known as T-strap or Sally pumps, have been around since the early 1900s, falling out of favor in the 1960s. They are known for combining comfort with elegance. The style is chic with sleeveless long dresses and dainty jewelry. Worn with a blazer, cropped top, and cropped pants, it is a lesson in modern suiting. Add a fitted sheath dress and colorful accessories to
the mix for an easy work to cocktails with friends outfit.

Cork-Wedge Platforms with PVC Uppers:

Pair with a red linen dress or short set. A green paisley boho shirt and flared-leg jeans are timeless. A sleeveless asymmetrical neckline top with dark beige silk cargo pants is utilitarian chic. Wear a
strapless black and white midi dress with an envelope clutch for a summer in the city style. Go bold with a Fuchsia top, linen shorts in cream or Ecru, or effortless with a corset-top floral print dress and gold accessories.

Lace-up Pointy Flats:

Pair with a linen shirt and mid-rinse denim shorts for effortless style. A grey vintage T-shirt, a  wheat-colored satin bomber, and dark rinse jeans is the perfect running errands vibe. A black and white ¾ sleeve stripe top and rolled hem jeans has a Parisian flare.

Villainous-Inspired Pumps:

Find your inner Cruella with brightly colored tights and a black short-sleeve midi dress with red lips and nails. Achieve a preppy vibe with a white button-down, dark olive tie, and a black box pleated skirt. Perhaps a burgundy button-down paired with a tan letterman’s jacket with scarlet accents, a deep navy and green skirt with bone accessories is more of your collegiate style. Or think outside the box and wear an Ombre-hued shirt dress with large black sunglasses and a top handle purse.

Dressing for Joy!

In today’s world, fashion goes beyond mere appearance—it’s a blend of self-expression and self-care. The concept of ‘dopamine dressing’ has evolved from a fad into a powerful movement.

Denim & Blues

Denim trends evolve constantly, but 2025 is embracing an impressive range of styles. From ultra-wide-leg cuts that skim the floor to statement-making embellished jeans, there’s something for everyone. While fresh silhouettes dominate the scene, one thing remains clear: denim continues to prove its status as the most versatile staple in our wardrobes.

Faux Sensibilities

During the wintry months of the year, a warm, fuzzy, oversized coat is always a stylishly good idea. For the FW 2024/early 2025 season, oversized faux fur coats are a luxurious, cruelty-free way to be stylish and warm.
